Refund Policy (Web Checkout)

1) Scope

This Refund Policy applies only to purchases made through our third-party web checkout (for example, Stripe and/or PayPal) for the game Bagarre (“we”, “us”).

Purchases made via Epic Games checkout (Epic Games Store payment platform) are governed by Epic’s refund policy. For Epic checkout refunds, use Epic’s tools/policy: Epic Games Store Refund Policy.

2) General rule: all sales final (web checkout)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all purchases made via our web checkout are final and non-refundable. This includes (where applicable) virtual currency, consumables, in-game items, cosmetics, and other digital content.

Exception: nothing in this policy limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

3) France/EU consumers: statutory withdrawal rights and digital-content exception

In some jurisdictions (including France/EU), consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights for certain distance purchases, subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

For digital content or digital services delivered immediately (most in-game purchases), statutory withdrawal rights do not apply once delivery/performance begins if the buyer (i) expressly requests immediate delivery/performance, and (ii) acknowledges that they lose the withdrawal right once delivery/performance begins, where permitted by law.

4) When we may grant a refund (web checkout)

Even when a refund is not required by law, we may consider refunds in limited cases, at our discretion, for example:

• Duplicate purchase caused by a technical error (charged twice for the same transaction).
• Payment processed but content not delivered due to a verified server-side issue (and we cannot remedy delivery).
• Fraudulent/unauthorized transactions (after reasonable verification).

We may deny requests where we detect abuse (for example, repeated refund requests, chargeback abuse, or policy evasion).

5) How to request a refund (web checkout)

Please include:

• Your order/receipt ID (Stripe/PayPal receipt),
• The date and amount,
• The Epic account / in-game account identifier used (if applicable),
• A short description of the issue, and any relevant screenshots/logs.

If your request is eligible, refunds are issued to the original payment method unless the law requires otherwise.

6) Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you initiate a chargeback/dispute with your payment provider, we may be required to suspend access to the related digital goods until the dispute is resolved, and we may restrict further purchases on the associated account where permitted.
